As we near the end of what has for us all been a very difficult year we should look forward to 2021 with hope in the knowledge that a vaccine for COVID 19 is slowly being rolled out across the land.
Firstly I would like to thank all of you from all of us at Nanteos for your continued support and good wishes. During the toughest times we received many messages which buoyed our sprits. 2020 has tested the hospitality industry in particular and resulted in much disappointment not only for us, but for those who grace our doors. Brides and Grooms, their families and friends, families planning get togethers and reunions or celebrations, those of you who simply wanted a quiet getaway are amongst the many who have experienced disappointment. We must not forget those amongst us who have suffered loss, and our thoughts remain with them.
We in Wales are about to experience another lockdown. We should try to enjoy Christmas responsibly in the knowledge that things will improve. We will though have to endure further restrictions as we enter Tier 4 before we see better days. It is highly likely that there will be a fairly lengthy period of control over what we in hospitality can and cannot do.
For all the darkness we have experienced there are no doubt some good memories from the past year and we look forward to a new year where there are more memories waiting to be made.
We will of course resume normal service as soon as possible (so no need to adjust your set!) and will update our website and social media regularly.
Until my next update I take this opportunity to wish you, your family and friends a safe and happy Christmas followed by a New Year of new beginnings that are also healthy, happy and safe.
Nadolig Llawen a Blwyddyn Newydd Dda.
